From the beginning I had a dream and a passion to create something very special. A countertop that no one has ever seen before. A countertop so spectacular that people would just stand and stare. It took us five years to turn this dream into reality. Now we want to share our dream with others.
This is one of the few video's taught for cast in place countertops. Our countertops have no seams. People love the effect. In the video you will be taught by Jeremy and Jordan Leatherwood and my self Bobby Leatherwood. We are the designers and creators of Old World Stone Countertops.
We are going to teach from an actual job. Not in a class room where you would learn how to make samples but an actual kitchen countertop. This is where we can teach true job technique that will allow you to continue on your own.
All of our other training video's are taught from actual jobs. This gives people training as though they spent hundreds or even a few thousand dollars to complete a course. We do not teach how to create samples. We teach real job conditions and how to deal with real job problems.
What you will learn.
1) How to build the base and construct the most important part of the countertop.
2) How to install all steel mesh and rebar.
3) How to apply the edge forms and create special stone finishes only created by
Picassa Crete.
4) How to design and change the countertop to fit the new kitchen plan.
5) How to install the limestone mix, stamp, and finish.
6) How to stain the countertop with our special method to give the countertop
The most realistic stone look and feel possible.
7) Different seals and techniques’ of each.
As a bonus we are going to give a crash course on how to tile a backsplash.

Basics to make a beautiful tile backsplash.
